The Quarantine Garden
This series of work is a result of the Covid 19 pandemic.
Unable to visit gardens during lockdown, I revisited on-hand source materials, such as photos and sketches from previous visits to the Royal Botanical Gardens.
The flowers and gardens have been remixed to create a new Quarantine Garden.
A vibrant and new hybrid space is created in the work, existing somewhere between the figurative, the abstract, and the world of pattern and decoration.
